Young V&A Museum at Bethnal Green re-opened
After a 3 year refurbishment the children’s museum is now open daily 10.00 – 17.45. It’s slightly north of Bethnal Green Central Line Station. Except for special exhibitions admission is free.

See the full range of courses at Idea Stores in Tower Hamlets. As an example, Creative Writing at Bow Idea Store costs £86 for nine evenings. A concessionary rate of just £23 applies if you are receiving Job Seekers Allowance, Employment Support Allowance, Income Support, Universal Credit or a State Pension.
Canalside Festival at Here East July & Aug
There’s free live music from 6pm every Thursday from 6th July to 31st August. It’s beside the canal by Here East (E15 2GW). The 277 bus which heads north from Mile End station up Grove Road will take you there. Alternatively you could walk across Victoria Park and go out the north eastern corner and along the Eastway.
