Roman Road Winter Festival is here!

From 4-7 December, Roman Road Winter Festival will be coming to town and bringing a flurry of festive fun up and down The Roman




So put on your Christmas jumper and celebrate the wonder of winter with a line-up of events crammed with hot mulled drinks, great food, local musicians, festive shopping, children’s fun and games, and magic for all. Amazingly, it’s all FREE!!

Start the festive season in style with a night of  live music and festive acts on Friday 5th December. Line up includes Hornman, Sula Mae and Rum Buffalo, as well as an un-missable psychedelic dance troupe, Action Men.

The good thing about winter nights closing in is huddling up with a warm cuppa to watch your favourite festive films. We’ve dug out some classic vintage Christmas films and we’ll be showing them at cosy cafes up and down The Roman.

Christmas is all about the children so we’ve lined up a programme of imaginative festive kid’s activities and workshops they’ll never forget. They’ll be elbow deep in glitter, biscuit decoration, epic Christmas games, garland-making, and silly fancy dress. And course, Santa is coming to town.

The Winter Festival’s Sunday Market on 7th December will be an immersive affair. There’ll be carol singing, brass bands and choirs at The Teeny Tiny Theatre, as well as circus acts, Carrom board games, and buskers on the street, with East London Radio covering all the events.
