True to its roots Chisenhale Dance Space continues to challenge perceptions and understandings of what dance and performance can be.
Thursday 5th + Friday 6th February
Visionhale is a mini-festival of performance lectures by dance artists illuminating issues close to their hearts. Hosted at Chisenhale Dance Space over two nights, Visionhale poses as a springboard and landing pad for various danced acts of enquiry and advocacy. After each lecture performance the subject in hand will be further explored through a brief group conversation in which audience members are welcome to put their observations, thoughts and questions to the presenting artists.
THURSDAY 5 FEBRUARY
FRIDAY 6 FEBRUARY
Visionhale is produced by Flora Wellesley Wesley and supported by Chisenhale’s Allotment Project Scheme.

OPENLAB is a model for professional self-development for performers. The model was developed by Antonio de la Fe and its frame of work revolves around a basic question: “what does to perform entail?”
OPENLAB sessions are fluid: always changing, always open to dialogue within the group. These sessions are carried out by a constantly changing group of people and any person can join in at any time.
Mondays 7-8pm, Small Studio
