Victoria Park Baptist Church Film Nights

Next Thursday, 28th July 2022, Victoria Park Baptist Church will be showing The Deep End at 7.30pm. The film was released in 2001 and was promoted as: A stunningly tight and evocative thriller.

Doors open at 7pm and the screening is free. It’s opposite Wennington Green, on Grove Road (E3 5TG) just south of Victoria Park.

York Hall Swimming Pool has reopened

After a million pound refit including replacing the entire pool tank and retiling it in keeping with its 1920s original design York Hall Swimming Pool is now open. It’s on the corner of Old Ford Road, just north of Bethnal Green tube. Book your swim here.

Liveable Streets Review and Consultation

Tower Council says:

“The Council is reviewing some of the Liveable Streets schemes that have been implemented, with the aim of seeking to reopen our roads, ending the traffic management schemes that are not working effectively in our borough.”

In Bow the closure on Antill Road at the junction with Selwyn Road has been removed. But the prohibition of vehicles passing the location in the eastbound direction will remain. Read more.

The Camden Fringe opens soon

The Camden Fringe is a performing arts festival which Runs from 1st – 28th August 2022.

Expect theatre, opera, musicals, comedy, dance, cabaret and more.
