TH Children’s NURSERIES should not be sold

Tower Hamlets council wants to privatise it’s remaining public nurseries: John Smith Children’s Centre, Mary Sambrook and Overland Day Nursery.

These nurseries are described by Tower Hamlets Council itself as “providing an integrated education and day care service for the most vulnerable children in the borough.”

There is further recent information here. This situation is clearly getting worse as the Advertiser had this story back in March.

The organisers of the campaign to keep the nurseries in public ownership encourage all Tower Hamlets residents who believe that providing nurseries for children is one of the reasons we pay our council tax to fill out the short public consultation here.

Please state clearly:

‘I oppose the council re-providing our nurseries and wish them to continue under direct council control.’  and mention if you live or work in Tower Hamlets.

If you agree with this please share on Facebook.
