One of the things I love about London is all the stuff that goes on. Walking along the Greenway from the Big Yellow I noticed that this structure had appeared and went to find it. It’s right alongside Pudding Mill Lane DLR Station. A notice on the fence says that Aniara Ltd have applied for a licence to put on live music, recorded music, dance performances, and run a bar.
The venue will accommodate an audience of 3,000, and the plans are to put on eight shows a week. The technology will be state of the art. It’s been designed specifically for ABBA Voyage.
This is to be a temporary theatre until the Pudding Mill new neighbourhood development gets built.
