New Support Hubs
Tower Hamlets Council have launched help and support hubs at Mulberry Place and the Whitechapel Idea store to help hard pressed residents. They will provide a single point of contact to assist residents navigate the complex world of benefits, Universal Credit, debt, housing, employment and more.
Citizens Advice, Limehouse Project, Tower Hamlets Homes and Tower Hamlets Council for Voluntary Services are on-board to help.
D7 bus may be scrapped
TFL are proposing making changes to bus routes including scrapping the D7 which runs from Mile End to All Saints, Poplar. They are considering re-routing the 277 to terminate at All Saints.
