Bow Idea Store digital hub

Tower Hamlets Council has setup warm hubs where residents can socialise, and have a hot drink in the local Idea Stores. You can also borrow a computer, or take your own, and use the free wifi.

Bow, Chrisp Street and Whitechapel are open Monday to Friday from 11am-5pm, Saturday from 11am-4pm and Sunday 12noon-2pm.

Cubitt Town and Bethnal Green libraries are open Monday to Thursday from 11am-5pm and Saturday from 11am-4pm.

The Bromley by Bow Centre also offer a warm hub.  They say that Bow Foodbank will be open on Monday mornings as usual on 26th Dec and 2nd Jan (8.30-12.30).

Free one-hour parking near markets

At the Full council meeting on 30th November a motion was passed to introduce one-hour free parking for customers visiting a market in the borough. 248 parking bays have been identified as suitable for this purpose.

  1. Alan for the second year in a row you’ve invited all of Bow to our residents association carols. We aren’t made of money!
