Broadway Theatre Barking, film night Poplar, Graffiti Tour, Limehouse Robberies.

The Broadway Theatre in Barking has a huge and diverse range of reasonably priced shows on this spring.  Currently there’s Take Me Home- Horror Within – a thriller, next Thurs 25th Feb there’s an open mic for new musical talent,  Sat 27th Jan brings a new musical “Forever Dusty”, and on Thurs 8th Feb there’s Tom Thumb.

Terry Thomas will be appearing in the next Cabin Classic Cinema Club screening of the 1960 classic School for Scoundrels’ Thursday 1st Feb, 6.30 for 7pm. On Sat 20th Jan Graffiti ‘n’ Eat Tour starts outside Christ Church, Spitalfields at 11am and will teach you about, and show you, contemporary street art. £20 book here.

The Met Police tell us they are investigating a spate of robberies in Limehouse where lone males were robbed in the street by groups of teenagers. So far 14 arrests have been made, 9 of these for robbery, others for possession of knives and drug trafficking. 3 offenders have been charged (separate robberies).
