The Canal Festival committee is hard at work getting prepared for a bonanza festival at the Art Pavilion in Mile End to celebrate 200 years of the Regent’s Canal. Decoration making workshop: Amanda has kindly agreed to lead a workshop making big fish from material to decorate the outside of the Pavilion. It will be at Create Place, 19 Old Ford Road, E2 9PJ from 7.00. If anyone likes the creative end of sewing, please tell them about it.
Youth photography workshops: these are taking place with young people from the Roman Road Adventure Playground on 23rd and 30th April, led by Ken Flaherty. We’re looking for digital cameras no longer needed to donate for the workshops.
