The Geezers visit our National Army Museum

The Geezers at the National Army Museum, London

Our top photo shows the Geezers with a Challenger 2 Battle Tank outside The National Army Museum.

From the East End to the bright lights of Chelsea

It was a brilliant day out for 20 geezers using the Uber Boat water bus service from Canary Wharf to Cadogan Pier on the Chelsea Embankment. The Uber Boats are the Geezers preferred way to travel, but do check the timetables.

The National Army Museum

The National Army Museum is the home of the history and heritage of the British Army. Through permanent galleries, special exhibitions, collections and programmes, the museum explores how soldiers have shaped our world and lives, from the British Civil Wars to the Army’s role today.

The Geezers also met a few Chelsea pensioners who are younger than most of The Geezers!

On the way back to the pier we took a slight detour into the Physic Garden an oasis of amazing plants and trees from all corners of the world.

We would definitely recommend a visit to The National Army Museum. There’s loads to see, the staff and kind and helpful, and they have a great cafe inside. It’s walkable from Sloane Square tube station.
